Learn More

A Maine native, Marc chased after adventure with the US Navy and later as a defense contractor.  But, alas, tracking high interest targets around the globe using the latest electronics, communications, and imagery intelligence, and then working tirelessly on missile defense projects in Colorado and Alaska proved to be not quite as exciting as hoped.  Luckily, he soon discovered the adrenaline rush that only comes from accounting, and he’s been hooked ever since.

He holds a Master’s degree in accounting and financial management and has been in public accounting since 2010.  His expertise is in governmental accounting which he uses to lead the firm’s Municipal Business Management Services team, where he helps manage the business offices and provides financial advice to municipalities, schools, and counties throughout the state. Marc also oversees Royer’s assurance services, providing financial statement audits and reviews to governments, non-profit organizations, and for-profit clients.
